Shipping Policy

Seller-direct fulfillment
Nellie Shoes is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Sellers ship orders directly to buyers using a carrier of their choice (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.). Nellie Shoes does not operate warehouses or handle physical inventory.
Seller obligations
- Sellers must ship within 3 business days of payment confirmation.
- Tracking number is required and must be entered in the seller dashboard so the buyer can monitor delivery.
- Sellers must use a service that provides delivery confirmation. Lost packages without proof of delivery favor the buyer in disputes.
- Items should be packed appropriately to prevent damage in transit. Soft, padded packaging recommended for heat.
Buyer obligations
- Provide an accurate shipping address. We snapshot the address at checkout — edits to your saved address book do not affect orders already placed.
- Inspect items upon receipt and confirm receipt within 7 days. After 7 days, escrow is automatically released to the seller.
Domestic vs international
At launch, Nellie Shoes supports US-to-US shipments only. International shipping may be added in a future release.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are the seller's responsibility unless explicitly disclosed otherwise in the listing. The price you see at checkout is what you pay.
Lost or damaged in transit
If a package is marked delivered but the buyer hasn't received it, both buyer and seller should investigate with the carrier first. If the package is genuinely lost, the seller is responsible for refunding the buyer or providing an equivalent replacement.
Returns
Sneaker resale is final-sale by default. Returns are not accepted unless the item is materially not-as-described or counterfeit, in which case our refund policy applies.
